The Know Before You Grow

Updated: May 3, 2022

Each individual seed grows a different plant with its own unique attributes, coupled along with the rise of the internet experts, it could make it a difficult decision dialing in what strain may be the best for you. Loaded Seeds Club is here to help.

Let's start by assessing the location you are designating as your grow zone and consider any factors that could affect your zone. Depending on the space you have available, determine how many plants you can comfortably have and make sure it is an amount you will be able to tend for and not feel overwhelmed. Another item to consider if growing indoors, is to make sure you have adequate space as the plant grows taller to allow for the light source to be moved up and the amount of lamps you will want to hang. If growing outside, make sure the strain's flowering times are planned out for optimal sun light exposure and within your region's best growing season. You can also opt out for a combination of indoor and outdoor grow, by germinating and growing the seedlings indoors, where conditions and light exposure can be controlled. Once seedlings have been properly sexed, if needed and have grown to desired size and height, can be brought to the outdoor grow zone until it is ready to be harvested.

Assure you have a grow calendar where you can notate your feed/water schedule and any milestones to keep track of your progress. High quality seeds are key to a healthy and high yielding harvest, in combination to proper feeding/watering and adequate light exposure. Grow zone size, flowering time, whether you rather grow indoor or outdoor will all be important factors on deciding what strain to choose. If you have these factors planned out it will make it a lot easier on the varieties that will best work for you.
